George Al-Marajdeh

Mr. George Al-Marajdeh is a 32-year-old Palestinian craftsman from Beit Sahour. He works in the olive wood craft industry , which  he acquired  from his father. He has over eight years of experience in this field. His work mainly has to do with  handicrafts bearing Christian religious symbols, such as the Nativity scene and the stages and miracles of Jesus Christ . Mr. Al-Marajdeh perceives  this craft as a means of spiritual and artistic expression. He works to develop and preserve these crafts, and also seeks to pass them on to younger generations.
